Ten thousand runners are expected to participate the "Human Race 10K" in Istanbul.

The charity purposes and sportive meaning of the event left aside, the Human Race gives the chance to make the winner feel like 'the world champion'.

The race will start Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (1700 GMT) in Beylerbeyi district of Istanbul. Runners will cross the Bosporus Bridge then turn to Besiktas and head to Dolmabahce before making a U-turn for Ortakoy and finishing at the Kurucesme Arena.

Starting from 8:00 p.m. roads will be closed along the route. As the runners pass through the route, the cars will gradually be let back in.
