    Turkey is Prime Target for Recruiting New Members for Sect

    Ihsan Goktas, who was the Turkey officer of a sect, is under police protection after deserting the sect known as the Scientology Organization two weeks ago.Goktas, who had changed his name to Isaak Himmelstein, was used to spread word of the sect and recruit new followers in Turkey. "They used me to spread the sect to all parts of Turkey. Their objective was to recruit more Turkish trade." Goktas, 31, reportedly said that the Scientology Organization sent experts from Hamburg to train Turks in Istanbul. He has also revealed more secrets about the sect since deserting it two weeks ago. The Sect which is based in Hamburg, Germany, issued a report showing that Turkey was chosen as the number-one country for future expansion of the sect.   Goktas will remain under police protection until both sides deem it safe for him not to be.
