Trabzon in no rush to find a new coach

ISTANBUL - Turkcell Super League side Trabzonspor is taking its time finding a new coach after Ersun Yanal resigned, chairman Sadri Åžener said.
Yanal resigned as Trabzonspor coach Monday after a year and a half at the helm, following fan and media reaction to his side's 3-0 loss to league leader Sivasspor last weekend.Â
Speaking to Turkish NTV Spor, Şener said that it was not possible to deal with "society’s psychology."
"After the Sivasspor game, both Yanal and the board acted the way the society wanted us to do," Şener said. Trabzonspor reserves’ coach Ahmet Özen will manage the team for the remaining five games of the season, and Şener is in no hurry to name the manager who will succeed Yanal.
"We are not in a rush," said Şener. "We don’t get good results when we rush." Şener added that he would like to see a Turkish coach at the Black Sea side, but may opt to a foreigner as well, as "there are not many Turkish coaches that might manage Trabzonspor."
