Top ranking Turkish military officials to accompany Erdogan on US visit

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to depart November 3 for his upcoming meeting with US President George W. Bush in Washington, DC on November 5.
Erdogan will be accompanied on this trip by top ranking members of the Turkish military forces, including the second commanding general of the military's General Staff, General Ergin Saygun, and General Kenan Kocak. According to sources in the Turkish capital, the military members included in the Turkish delegation will also attend the White House meeting on November 5. In terms of high-ranking non-military members of Erdogan's delegation, both Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul are to be included in the visit.
