The success of Turkish film “Uzak” in Cannes

Uzak (Far), the film of Nuri Bilge Ceylan, won two prizes in the International 56th Cannes Film Festival.

The film received the festival Grand Prize, while the two leading actors, Mehmet Emin Toprak (who lost his life in a traffic accident in December) and his cousin Muzaffer Ozdemir won the Best Actor Prize.
