Stock market to close on May 1

ANKARA - The Istanbul Stock Exchange, or IMKB, will be closed for trading on May 1 for a national holiday.
Transactions made by investors on April 29 will be settled on May 4, the bourse said in a filing yesterday. Transactions on April 30 will be settled on May 5, it said. May 1 was declared a national holiday by the government this week.
