State Minister Aksit leaves for United States

Turkish State Minister Guldal Aksit left for United States on Sunday to attend 49th Term Meeting of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.Speaking at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport prior to her departure, Aksit said the meeting was about women's rights noting the meeting will last for two weeks. She said the first week of the meeting would be at ministerial level.Aksit said she would return to Turkey after attending World Women's Day celebrations to be held in the UN.  Â
