PM Erdogan: I find the caricatures unacceptable

In his meetings with French Foreign Minister Phillippe Douste-Blazy yesterday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan reacted to news of the publishing of a series of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammed in the French press, noting that he viewed the incident as "an attack on our spiritual values." The PM's statement about the caricatures came as a response to a question posed by a reporter from France Le Soir at a press conference in Ankara, and the PM also added "freedom of the press should not be unlimited."
Said Erdogan, "At a time such as this when we are trying to bring about an alliance of cultures and civilizations, this type of approach does not serve anyone well. I find it unacceptable."
