Logoglu: "U.S.promised to solve PKK terrorist organization problem in North of Iraq

Turkish Ambassador in Washington Faruk Logoglu said, ''U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said during her visit to Ankara that PKK terrorist organization problem in the north of Iraq will be solved.'' Holding a news conference for defense writers in Washington on Wednesday, Logoglu touched on the problem between Turkey and the United States regarding the existence of terrorist organization in the north of Iraq.Logoglu stressed, ''all groups should have rights on the future of Iraq and none of the groups should be superior than others. If Iraq remains as a single and united country, we are not against autonomy of any group.''Logoglu said, ''Kirkuk has a special position like Baghdad. Kirkuk cannot be given to a group by underestimating the rights of other groups.''Logoglu also said, ''Iran should not have nuclear weapons,'' calling Tehran to comply with its international responsibilities.Â
