Krueger: Everything Is Fine In Turkey

Anne Krueger, the First Deputy President of the IMF, said that everything was going well in Turkish economy.Krueger, who is in Morelia, Mexico for G-20 meetings, told Anatolian news agency; I expect the Board of Executive Directors to convene in the second half of November, however we have not clarified the date yet. Krueger said that her meeting with State Minister Ali Babacan was very positive and that; Of course there can be problems, however for the time being everything seems fine.In the meeting of Babacan and Krueger the steps that should be taken with regard to the 6th Review were tackled and targets were underlined. Krueger reportedly said that the IMF was pleased by the course of developments in Turkey, that was improving her economy quicker than the Fund expected.Â
