Interesting acquittal ruling of the judge

Mustafa Kandil, who is a teaching member at the Education Faculty of the Marmara University and who had killed robber Erhan Dincer that attempted to enter his son’s house, was acquitted by the Uskudar 2nd Heavy Penal Court.

The court said that he was acquitted on grounds that, “Public security was damaged with the amnesty. Those living in Istanbul are frequently subjected to robbery and usurpation and the defendant killed the victim in such a psychological mood.” Kandil was arrested after he killed the robber and was imprisoned for 3 months 13 days. The court returned the rifle that killed the robber to Kandil.
