Industrial production rose by 10.3% in August when compared to the same month of the last year. For the first eight months, the increase in the industrial production is 7.7%.

According to the announcement of the State Statistics Institute, the increase in the industrial production reached peak in January 2003 with a rate of 15.3% after March 2002. This increase was 4.3% in February, 6.1% in March, 3.9% in April, 4.9% in May, 11% in June, and 11.9% in July.
