IMF: We are proud of turkey

International Money Fund’s (IMF) foreign relations Director Thomas C. Dawson said that Turkey and Brazil succeeded in their economic programs and they were very happy working with and proud of these two countries.Dawson evaluated the economical events of 2004 in this last press briefing of the year. Dawson wanted to talk about the subjects that were not spoken last week and said: this year was a very active year, specially we had an active week this week. And he reminded a new agreement between Turkish authorities and the IMF mission. EVALUATION IS ON THE NEW YEARS DAYThomas Dawson recalled that a new stand-by agreement with Turkey will be considered by the IMF board in the very first weeks of new year. He also said that IMF concluded the 9th Review over the agreement done with Brazil on 15 December and that; I think both countries had a big success in their programs. IMF is very happy about that and proud of cooperating with these strong reform programs. Â
