IMF: Argentina Should Take Lessons from Turkey

Anne Krueger, the Acting Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), called on Argentina to take lessons from Turkey about the financial strategy.Krueger said in the meeting that was hold by the American Enterprise Institute -for the problems of the Argentinean economy- that, fighting unemployment and poverty should have priority for the Argentina government. Additionally, Krueger showed Turkey as a model to the audience, with her economic growth and structural shifts, and gave numerical facts. Krueger said that the determination of the government provided achievement in the rise of Gross Domestic Product in Turkey.Â
