High Tribunal to continue hearing Aydin case

The High Tribunal will continue to hear the lawsuit tomorrow (Wednesday) in which former public works and housing minister Koray Aydin is being tried of alleged irregularities. Aydin will defend himself in tomorrow's hearing.Koray Aydin is accused of alleged irregularities and abusing powers by implementing wrong and illegal energy policies that caused the state to lose money. He may be imprisoned if convicted.Upon the request of Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Prosecutor Nuri Ok, High Tribunal had put precautionary measure on Aydin's, his wife's and children's movable and immovable properties worth 2.3 million USD and 2.3 million DM.    Â
