Guns in Turkish Vessel

7092 Kalachnikov guns and 11 heavy machine guns were found in three containers in a Turkish vessel named Adnan Bayraktar, in the Gioina Tauro port of Italy.The weapons worth 6 million Euro, which were loaded from Romania, were bound to be delivered to New York. The kalachnikovs were stated as “Regular guns” in the bill of lading. The vessel was found oft to have passed from Turkish straits on April 16 and 17 and their presence was not notified to Turkish authorities. Italian news agency ANSA reported that the weapons have been modified as normal guns capable of turning into automatic guns later on. �
