General Buyukanit in Rome; press conference expected in coming hours

The chief commanding officer of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Yasar Buyukanit, is in Rome as the official guest of the Italian military's General Staff headquarters.
General Buyukanit will be visiting NATO military bases in Naples and Rome during this visit, and with only hours left to go before an expected Turkish Parliament approval of a motion which would allow Turkish military intervention in northern Iraq, General Buyukanit will be holding a press conference at the Turkish Embassy in Rome to answer questions regarding over the border activities.
