EU Is Opening An Office In TRNC

Having released the financial aid of 259 million Euros, EU launches a "legal relationship" with Northern Cyprus and opens an "EU Representation" in TRNC very soon. Upon a question of a Greek Cypriot whether the soldiers on the island  should not be pulled out, EU Commissioner Guenter Verheugen said, "If the Annan Plan was accepted, they would be pulled out. But from now on they will stay and maybe increase."Â
