Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in full support of Albania's bid for NATO membership. At a press conference yesterday with Albanian Prime Minister Fatos Nano, Erdogan expressed his support for Albania saying that it is a key country in the Balkans and has an essential role to play in the future of Europe and world peace.The two governments signed a trade agreement yesterday to promote greater maritime cooperation. Turkey and Albania's current trade volume runs at $160 million, with this new agreement both governments hope to up this figure in the coming year. Erdogan will travel to Bosnia today where he is expected to hold meetings with the country's leaders and attend business meetings. The PM's wife, Emine Erdogan is traveling with the PM.Â
