Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has spoken about his feelings on the Armenian conference:''I never approved the court decision suspending the Conference entitled 'The Armenians during the Collapse of the Ottoman Empire' because I want a Turkey in which freedoms are experienced in a broad way,'' said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new academic year at Istanbul's Bahcesehir University, Erdogan said, ''freedoms can be broadened by respecting other views. I think causing such discussions on the eve of our entry talks (with the EU) is intentional and provocative.'' ''All these issues will be reflected in the (progress) report (on Turkey to be released by the European Commission in November). Whatever you do, Turkey will integrate with the world in political, economic and cultural senses,'' added Erdogan.Â
