The Greek Cypriot Government announced in Luxembourg that it will accept any decision aiming to remove the embargo on TRNC. Yorgo Yakovou, the Greek Cypriot foreign minister said that "I will support every assistance to be made by my colleagues to Northern Cyprus." Greek Cypriot leader Tasos Papadopulous meanwhile said that they will allow EU to develop a special relationship with TRNC, provided that it is not recognized.Â
