Defense Minister Gonul denies reports of Israeli-Turkish contract cancellation

National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul has said that speculation that a large defense contract between Israel and Turkey had been cancelled as a result of last week's controversial visit to Ankara by a Hamas delegation was untrue. Responding to questions from a reporter, Gonul noted that not only was rumors about fall-out from the Hamas visit untrue, but that there was in fact no such newly signed defense protocol between Israel and Turkey.
