CeBIT Informatics Eurasia, the largest and the most important Information and Communication Technology (ICT) trade show in the region, opened at Istanbul's TUYAP Fair and Congress Center on Tuesday.

Over 900 companies from several countries converged on Istanbul to exhibit the very latest integrated technology solutions, while more than 150,000 people are expected to visit the show.

The 2008 show will boast a total exhibition area of 27,000 square meters divided up into four main sections: Business World, Digital Life, Telecommunications and Home Electronics. The show will end on Oct. 12.
