A protest against the latest PKK attacks in Turkey took place yesterday in the Belgian capital of Brussels, with up to 800 Turkish protestors coming face to face with Belgian police forces sent to control the atmosphere.

At least 100 were injured in the protest, during which 3 people hit a police vehicle with their own cars, and during which anti-Kurdish slogans were shouted by the crowds. The three police in the vehicle were also injured and sent to the hospital. The protest took place in the Brussels neighborhoods of Scharbeek and Saint-Josse, known locally as "little Turkey."
