Arinc: I Will Attend Reception Of President. Tension Is Wrong

Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc announced that he would attend the October 29 reception of President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, where Sezer invited both Republican People's Party (CHP) deputies and their wives but invited deputies of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) on their own.Arinc said, “Such receptions should not be depicted as a subject of tension.” Arinc said that it is Sezer, who should be asked the reason of such a discrimination (between AKP and CHP deputies).�
