Almanya'da Nazi artıkları Türk evlerini yakarken, bir şiddet olayı da Alman polisinden geldi. 26 yaşındaki Adem Özdamar "2 Afrikalı zenci peşimde beni öldürecekler, kurtarın..." diye Alman polisine sığındı. Ancak, götürüldüğü Alman karakolundan koma halinde çıktı. Günlerdir hastanede ölüm kalım savaşı veriyor.

Peki nasıl oluyor bu? İşte bunu soruyoruz…
Adem’e karakolda ne oldu?
Alman makamlarından hiçbir açıklama yok. Aile perişan…
Son dönemde “Nazi artıkları”nın yabancı düşmanlığını körüklediği Almanya’da “ırkçılık siyasal bir boyut” mu kazanıyor?
Alman hükümeti kundaklanan Türk evleri konusunda sessiz…
Sanki göstermelik bir soruşturma sürüyor.
Sanki bir “göz yumma” var…
Neden mi?
Çünkü Almanya Başbakan’ı Merkel açıkça söylüyor:
“Türklere ayrıcalıklı AB üyeliği verelim”…
-Yani?…
Yani, “Türkler ikinci sınıf AB üyesi olsun”
Peki bu bir tesadüf müdür?
Yani Alman Başbakanı’nın Türkiye’nin AB üyeliğiyle ilgili “ikinci sınıf üye olun” önerisiyle Türklere yapılan kundaklamaların aynı zamanda yoğunlaşması bir tesadüf müdür?
Bu sözler “Nazi artıkları”nı güçlendiriyor olabilir mi?
Hatta Almanlar arasında “yabancı düşmanlığı”nı cesaretlendiriyor mu?.
Belki de bu yüzden kundaklamalar başladı.
Belki bu yüzden Adem komaya sokuldu..
Evet soru işaretleri çok ağır.
İnsan inanmak istemiyor ancak ne yazık ki bu soruların tonu giderek yükseliyor.
Adem son örnektir.
Bu nedenle Adem’e yapılanın peşini bırakmayalım.
Her fırsatta Türkiye üzerine “insan hakları komisyonları kuran” ve Ankara’dan çok Diyarbakır’a gelip “insan hakları raporları hazırlayanlara” şöyle diyelim:
-Evet insan hakkı kutsaldır.
Bu nedenle kundaklamaların ve Adem’in hesabı sorulmalıdır.
Eğer Almanya’da bir “yabancı düşmanlığı” hortlatılıyor ve Nazi artıkları hareketleniyorsa bu tespit edilmelidir.

Çünkü bu sorun yalnızca Türklerin sorunu değildir. Bu sorun bütün insanlığın sorunudur.
And so now, let us ask.....
A young Turk living in Germany, where Nazi supporters set fire to an apartment inhabitied by Turks, went to a police station to make a complaint, and emerged with damage to his brain. And now 26 year old Adem Ozdamar is in a coma.
Here is the allegation:
"The police beat Adem badly..."
But how does something like this happen?
This is what we are asking:
What happened exactly in the police station in Germany?
There have been no official explanations from any German authorities.
His family, in the meanwhile, is distraught.
Is the hostility towards foreigners in Germany, which has been provoked recently by these Nazi-era supporters, taking on political dimensions?
The German government has remained silent on the subject of the arson attack on the Turkish apartment building. A "showy" investigation is continuing.
There seems to be some sort of purposeful "ignoring" going on.
But why?
Because as German Chancellor Angela Merkel has clearly and openly said:
"Let's give the Turks a separate sort of EU membership...."
Which means?
Which means basically "Let the Turks become second class EU members."
So is this a coincidence, this stance towards Turkey's EU drive and the increasing attacks against Turks in Germany?
Is it possible that words like this from Merkel are strengthening the stance of Nazi style youths and people in Germany?
It could be that this is the real reason behind the increased attacks on foreigners, even the reason that Adem is lying in a coma now.
Yes, these are very serious questions. You don't want to really believe this, but unfortunately, these sorts of questions are only increasing.
Adem is just the latest example.
So for this reason, let's not stop following the traces of what happened to Adem.
Let's say the following to the same nation that keeps pushing for a "human rights commission" to be formed focusing just on Turkey, the same nation which comes to Turkey and heads straight for Diyarbakir to talk about "human rights":
"Yes, human rights are sacred. Which is why we need to hear your explanation for the arson attacks on the Turkish apartments, and the injury done to Adem. If in fact hostility towards foreigners is increasing in Germany, and if the neo-Nazi movement is acting up more and more, you need to detect this."
Which is why we are starting up this campaign:
Here is the internet address of the German Interior Ministry. Send this text, which is on the other side, to them. These texts are not only in Turkish, but also in English and German. Because this problem does not only belong to the Turks, but to all people.

Bundesinnenministerium dazu auf, seinen Pflichten nachzukommen und gegen die wachsende
Ausländerfeindlichkeit in Deutschland vorzugehen.
Es müssen gründliche Ermittlungen geführt werden, um in letzter zunehmenden Gewalttaten gegen die Wohnhäuser von Ausländern, insbesondere von Türken, aufzuklären.
Und nicht zuletzt muss auch geklärt werden, wie der Adem Özdamar in einem Polizeiwache zu so einem Zustand gekommen ist.

"We the undersigned call the German Interior Ministry to action in regards to the recent increase spate of anti-foreigner activities in Germany.
There should be a serious investigation opened into the arson attacks on houses where not only Turks, but other foreigners too, reside.
Lastly, there should be an attempt to find some answers to the question of how Turkish youth Adem Ozdamar, who went to a police station to make a complaint, wound up in a coma."
We wish for the answers to these questions to be revealed in the name of the most basic value of all civilizations, that of human rights.
