The events that led to Narin’s injury started when she visited a male DJ friend at a local radio station on the evening of June 12. Narin’s father, brothers and other relatives raided the building, beating up her friend and then attacking her. Narin jumped from a sixth-floor window and survived with a few broken bones through the help of a canopy below. While being taken to the hospital, Narin’s uncle rushed to the stretcher and stabbed her in the stomach. Her mother applied to social services in Siirt two weeks ago and requested her daughter returned to her. Social services agreed to reurn her.
