They say now that "saying that" is not a crime. While we, here in Istanbul, decide not to allow a conference which includes people who say "There was in fact a genocide" to go ahead. Because of these court decisions, I can write comfortably about neither Orhan Pamuk nor the conference participants. Because I cannot swallow the fact or either a court case against Pamuk or a court decision in favor of another conference delay.
