Irans chief nuclear negotiator due in Turkey

Saeed Jalili, the secretary general of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and the Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, will travel from Geneva, Switzerland to Istanbul in order to hold talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, the Anatolian Agency reported.

Jalili and Babacan are expected to discuss the outcome of Jalili's recent talks on Iran's nuclear program in Geneva.

Jalili, met the European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana to discuss a package of incentives offered by world powers to Tehran before his visit to Turkey on Saturday.

After his meeting with Babacan, Jalili is expected to return to his country.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and the U.S. president's top security advisor Stephen Hadley had visited Turkey earlier this week to hold talks with top Turkish officials about Iran's nuclear program.
