Turkish President Abdullah Gul will travel to Croatia on Tuesday as the guest of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic.

Gul would pay a formal visit to Croatia between June 10 and 12, the presidency press center said on Monday.

Croatian President Mesic and Gul will hold a tete-a-tete meeting on June 11.

Gul will also meet the Croatian parliament speaker and prime minister separately, and will deliver a speech at a Turkish-Croatian Business Council meeting.

Turkish State Minister Mehmet Aydin, several bureaucrats and businessmen will accompany Gul during his visit. The Turkish president will return to Turkey on June 12.

Turkey and Croatia will sign several agreements within the scope of President Gul's visit.

Croatia, for which Turkish citizens do not require a visa to travel, started membership negotiations with the EU on Oct. 3, 2005 together with Turkey.
