Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi takes measures

Turkish embassy in Georgian capital of Tbilisi has been taking several measures for security of Turkish people in Georgia after start of clashes in South Ossetia, the officials said on Sunday

Officials from the embassy told that efforts were under way for a possible evacuation of Turkish citizens who were living in Tbilisi and its vicinity if clashes continued in South Ossetia.
Turkish authorities contacted Azerbaijani officials in regard to evacuation of Turkish people from Red Bridge checkpoint on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
