ISTANBUL - BÜMED, the alumni association of Boğaziçi University, has announced a collaboration with Xing, Europe’s leading business social network for professionals.
BÜMED is bringing together all its members under the roof of Xing, the association said at a press conference Thursday.
"The BÜMED social network is an organic and self-renewing platform," said Şükrü Ergün, BÜMED chairman. "We will enable dynamism of the platform, where innovations will be implemented through ideas and suggestions of users."
"As Europe’s number one social corporate network, it is exciting for us to realize such a project for Boğaziçi members, who have been known for their innovative spirit from past to present and who always want to rank at the top," said Xing Turkey Manager Hakan Gönenli. "Xing, which attaches great importance to user satisfaction, is gradually increasing its services with added value. We would like to see this project, which aims to increase relations of BÜMED members as well as their sense of belonging to the university, become a model for other associations."
