SK Engineering consortium wins $1 bln Turkey order
South Korea's SK Engineering & Construction Co said on Thursday its consortium won a underwater tunnel order worth $1 billion in Istanbul.

SK Engineering consortium wins $1 bln Turkey order

SK Engineering, an unlisted unit of SK Group, said in a statement it partnered with a Turkish company, Yapi Merkezi, and four South Korean builders to bid for the project.

The deal calls for SK's consortium to design, build and operate the tunnel, which would connect Asian and European sides of Istanbul.
