"Everybody should act in accordance with the constitution and the law. It is natural for the judiciary to take actions against those who violate the law," military spokesman Metin Gurak told a weekly press briefing.       Â
The leader of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP), Ahmet Turk, spoke Kurdish during his address at the party's parliamentary group meeting on Tuesday, breaking a law that bars the language from official settings. State run TRT cut the live broadcast when he switched from Turkish to speaking Kurdish.
Under the country's law, only Turkish can be spoken in political addresses.
Other political parties have criticized Turk's speech, saying it was a political maneuver ahead of the March 29 local elections.

Turk has immunity from prosecution as a member of parliament. Parliament would have to strip him of this before he could face any court case. Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan has said he did not plan to open a disciplinary case.
