ISTANBUL - Istanbul is making a front-page appearance on the February cover of the world-renowned magazine "Conde Nast Traveller."

The issue will publish a 27-page article under the name "Istanbul: The city of mysteries, where east and west meets." According to Cenk Erdem, press secretary for Pasion Turca, which manages public relations for the Tourism and Culture Consultancy.

The magazine plans to print artistic photos of Istanbul both on the cover and inside the magazine. The article and the photos will reflect different venues and places in the city. From architecture to history, food to nightlife, it will include a wide variety of tourist information. There are also fashion photo shoots published in the magazine.

The most interesting part in the article is where the editor, Bernardo Fuertes, confesses he is head over heels in love with Istanbul, reported Anatolia News Agency.

The first part of the article is published under the subtitle "Princess among princes." The story is 12 pages and mentions Çırağan Palace, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower, Topkapı Palace and Dolmabahçe.

The story continues with the subtitle "Postcards from Bosphorus," covering where to go in Istanbul for wining and dining.

There is also a part that reads, "Must Do’s in the city before departure." The article advises Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel, Hagia Sophia Palace, Four Seasons and Çırağan Palace Kempinski as places to stay during a visit.

The magazine will be available in the bookstores and kiosks on the same dates as the Spain Tourism Fair. The magazine is published in Spain and distributed in Spain, U.S., England, Italy and Greece.
