BRUSSELS - Greece is pleased Turkey is focusing on its European Union accession, Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyanni told a meeting in Brussels yesterday. "Greece is a big supporter of Turkey’s EU bid.
Although our stance on this may surprise some, we believe that as an EU member Turkey would contribute to the solution of bilateral problems, as well contributing to regional peace and security," she said.
