No change in US-Turkey ties with Obama

ISTANBUL - Relations between Turkey and the United States will be much better in 2009, according to Uğur Terzioğlu, chairman of the Turkish-American Business Association.
"We believe there will be no change in bilateral relations during President-elect Barack Obama's term in office as Turkey is the most stable and powerful country in the region," Terzioğlu said in a statement issued yesterday.
