PKK frees Turkish soldiers

It has been announced that eight soldiers with whom all communication was lost following a brutal PKK attack in Dağlıca on 21st October were handed over to DTP (Democratic Society Party) MPs in northern Iraq early this morning.

Twelve soldiers were killed, 16 were injured and eight soldiers disappeared in the attack. The eight soldiers who were disappeared are Ramazan Yüce, İrfan Beyaz, Mehmet Şenkul, Fuat Başoda, İlhami Demir, Fatih Atakul, Halis Çağan and Özhan Şabanoğlu.
The eight soldiers were handed over to DTP MPs Aysel Tuğluk, Osman Özçelik and Fatma Kurtulan. Özçelik, MP for Siirt, stated that the soldiers were handed over by the Minister of the Interior of the regional administration.
