Iranians bomb PKK encampments in Erbil region

The Iraqi Defense Ministry has accused Iran of entering 5 kilometers inside Iraqi territory to fire at PKK forces and encampments in the Lollan region. Part of the statement from Baghdad was as follows: "Iranian forces in the past 24 hours have bombed PKK encampments near Haj Umran outside of Erbil. More than 180 heavy bombs have fallen on Iraqi soil during that time. Iranian forces have entered 5 kilometers into Iraqi territory because of these attacks."
Speaking as a leader of PKK factions in Iraq, Rustem Cudi expressed doubt about the reason for the Iranian attacks on the PKK, saying "The clashes between our forces and Turkish forces in Turkey are going on far from the Iranian borders. Tehran is attacking us only because they have struck an agreement with Ankara."
