Timing of AKP case could endanger top brass appointments in the army
Turkey's Constitutional Court's decision to start debates on the closure case against AKP on Monday sparked new speculations as the timing came ahead of the critical Supreme Military Council (YAS) meeting. If the AKP is closed and the Prime Minister is banned by August 1, the key appointments for the new command line of the army could be jeopardized.
