    Baykal: The situation is befitting to neither Turkey nor its PM

    Leader of the main opposition Republican People's (CHP) Party, Deniz Baykal, has questioned whether or not Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is "receiving commission" from his "marketing of Turkey". Baykal also criticized the fact that two people within the PM's circle are currently in prison, a situation which Baykal said "befits neither the Prime Minister nor Turkey."

    Baykal went on:  "Look around the PM. The PM's private photographer is in prison, and an authority from the prime ministerial press headquarters has been arrested abroad.....This befits neither Turkey nor the Prime Minister."
    Capital racism
    Speaking about the recent accusations of "capital racism" made towards opposition CHP party members who raised an outcry in over the efforts to privatize by the government, Baykal said: "We do not accept the accusation that we are "capital racists." We are not political representatives of racism towards other human beings. I am against certain relations formed by the prime minister, not any particular race."
    Is he receiving commission?
    Touching on a recent quote from PM Erdogan in which he said "It is my responsibility to market Turkey," Baykal said this:
