    Ammar Al-Hakim meets FM Gul

    Iraqi Shi'ite leader Abdulaziz al-Hakim's son Ammar al-Hakim met Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul in Ankara on Thursday. Ammar al-Hakim said they would listen to the views of everybody during formation process of the new administration, noting that they would not exclude any group.

    Replying to questions of reporters following the meeting, al-Hakim said Sunnis and Turkmens would also make contributions to the new administration.

    Al-Hakim said the new government would be announced within a few days. They were in full consensus of opinion with Turkey on Kirkuk which they called ''small Iraq'', he said.

    Stating that they were positive toward geographical federation in Iraq, al-Hakim said Iraq would not be an Islamic rooted state.

    Al-Hakim wished that a new page would be opened for relations between Turkey and Iraq.

    During his meeting with Gul, al-Hakim said they condemned terrorist activities in Iraq, and stressed the importance of relations between Turkey and Iraq.
