The Justice and Development Party (AKP) is renewing its corporate image by deepening the shade of yellow that represents ‘humility’, which appears on the Party emblem.
The other colours of the party’s emblem represent other qualities and will stay as they are; black represents ‘strength’ and ‘authority’; and blue symbolizes ‘competence’ and ‘responsibility’. Presenting the new corporate at a press conference on Friday, Akif Gülle, Deputy to the General AKP Party Leader, announced that, "Replacin In the guide to the Party’s new corporate image, which was announced to the public on Friday by the AKP, ‘Secularism’, appearing in the list of 14 Party Principles, was described as being “a principle that limits the state, not the individual”. It went on: “According to the understanding of the AKP, whilst it is a result of the neutrality of the State towards beliefs, philosophical ideas and opinions, the principle of secularism is at the same time a symbol of peace within society. Religion and right of conscience are essential according to the AKP’s understanding of secularism”
